I posted some important shipping updates on the Heart-Shaped Box Lettered Edition, the "What's In a Name" chapbook by Bev Vincent, and The King of Shadows Limited Edition:

I will say that Impossible Fortress is a hard act to follow and if I had to choose between the two, I would put Impossible Fortress on top. I will add with these as his first two books, I will be reading whatever he puts out next!

I will add that as I was reading this book it felt perfect for what Lividian is doing. The trade has interior art that is part of the story, A relatively unknown author and a story that fits in with the current Lividian catalog.
Okay, you sold me (and, yes, the character(s) motivations issue was the consensus I saw as well, I’ll pick up a copy the next time I hit Costco (I saw it the last I was there…nice that a relatively (but deserving) unknown author was able to break in to their distribution channel).

I liked The Five, but didn't get out of it what most people seemed to.

I agree -- GONE SOUTH would not only be a great addition to Lividian's growing McCammon backlist, but is greatly deserving of the limited treatment, since it's never had it. I know it received some sporadic criticism when it was released, but I think most have come to recognize its strengths and view it as the fantastic Southern gothic-noir that it is.

I'm going to be out of cell service range for much of the weekend, so I might not reply to emails or messages until late on Monday. Everyone have a safe weekend!
