I don't want to say that's ominous. But my life seems to be packed full of times I'm saying the things I don't want to say.

For those still on Facebook, I just want to make sure you all know about the Lividian Facebook group in case anything ever happens to this discussion thread here. I don't run the Facebook group but I do try to answer questions when I can:

Hope to see you over there!

Technology is great when it works! I don't know enough to be useful but sometimes I think I know enough to be dangerous to myself and my site, etc.Originally posted by RonClinton View Post
No worries, Brian, it's all on my end. And, yes, we did, and I do vaguely remember you tried some solutions that seemed to work, so that was probably me. It seems to go in ebbs and flows, no idea why. I'm about ready to ditch my long-term email, anyhow, and move to a Gmail account...Gmail addresses, I hear, tend to play well with others, unlike my current ISP.
I just spent an hour trying to fix a CSS problem... at least I think that's what it was!

Oh weird! Sorry! Did we have this problem before? There was someone who just had so much trouble and I remember working through a bunch of solutions but cannot remember who or how it turned out...

No idea why I didn't receive it, and, no, it's not in my Spam/Junk folder. I saw the CD email and Hunter's email about it, but no official Lividian. I do get Lividian's emails, though, so maybe this was the Book Gods trying to tell me something...

Same. I never even saw an email from Lividian this morning (and still haven't), but the one from CD led me to the sell-out order page at around 9am.

I was so very tempted, but since I didn't have any of the other titles--and really don't feel like paying the aftermarket prices some of them fetch--I just couldn't get down from that fence. Congratulations to Brian and all those who did get a copy. This edition looks beautiful.

Congrats on the fast sellout Paul! Glad I snagged my copy early via the Patreon Early-Bird pre-order period!Originally posted by Brian James Freeman View PostJust announced: our deluxe signed, numbered, and slipcased Limited Edition hardcover of Speaks the Nightbird by Robert McCammon, but these really are going FAST! Not trying to "sell" you on anything, they will be gone before lunch and most of the retailers are telling me their allotments are also already sold:

Got a fun picture of me and Joe holding one of my Sounders scarves too.

This one took some will power to resist...it's my favorite Hill work, but I thought Sub Press did an outstanding on their edition (and I even opted for their slipcase upgrade) so decided that one limited of NOS4A2 was enough for my shelf. Oh, and I also have a trade 1st that has a lot of sentimentality...I took my daughters -- who would have been fourteen years at the time -- with me to Hill's tour stop in Seattle for it in 2013, and I had him put their names on the Naughty List in the front. So between those two copies, I'm set. But congrats to those who snagged a copy...it looks great, and Palumbo's art never disappoints.
