    I agree. I read the endless Chizmar spam, and think "If they promoted the board, and their website, amidst all this garbage, they'd pick up new members." Discussion here prompts book sales, so...why not drum up new members? I feel like CD itself is a dead issue, since it seems to be all Chizmar, all the time now.

    That's too bad, because if the forum goes, that'll also take away my last shred of goodwill towards CD, which has become, frankly, a VERY annoying system for bombarding me with Richard Chizmar e-mails every day, to say nothing of the fact that they owe me a shitload of books, some decades (!!!) overdue. I'd cancel all of my ancient orders, for sure.

    Technology is great when it works! I don't know enough to be useful but sometimes I think I know enough to be dangerous to myself and my site, etc. I just spent an hour trying to fix a CSS problem... at least I think that's what it was!

    No worries, Brian, it's all on my end. And, yes, we did, and I do vaguely remember you tried some solutions that seemed to work, so that was probably me. It seems to go in ebbs and flows, no idea why. I'm about ready to ditch my long-term email, anyhow, and move to a Gmail account...Gmail addresses, I hear, tend to play well with others, unlike my current ISP.

    Oh weird! Sorry! Did we have this problem before? There was someone who just had so much trouble and I remember working through a bunch of solutions but cannot remember who or how it turned out...

    The Preorder Gods were kind to me and had Speaks the Nightbird sell out super fast, sparing me any further deliberation. I was so very tempted, but since I didn't have any of the other titles--and really don't feel like paying the aftermarket prices some of them fetch--I just couldn't get down from that fence. Congratulations to Brian and all those who did get a copy. This edition looks beautiful.
