I'm torn on this one. I love NOS4A2 and the whole ethos around the story, but I'm not a graphic novel guy. Not sure which way I'm going to go with this one.

I'm sure Brian will chime in at some point, but yes, it should be announced publicly tomorrow.Originally posted by Ben Staad View PostIs the next Joe Hill book going live tomorrow for the public?

Well, I missed out on this one. Guess I’ll keep an eye out on the aftermarket.

Same, very appreciative. Not sure I would've been able to snag a copy without that early access, given that it sold out in four minutes from public announcement.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostSo excited about today's Lividian announcement! Also, very appreciative of Brian for offering his FREE Patreon followers early ordering access. I snagged my copy as soon as I received that email!

It's refreshing to see Brian address this issue head on, and, pledge to keep doing so going forward. As Ron said above- most of us (I hope!) do read our expensive, nice books. Or, hope to anyway! It ain't all about cover art and slipcases. Glad to see the readability aspect implemented.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostVery happy to see Brian's email this morning regarding the interior font size for Leviathan and to know that the LE will have the larger size. Most of the time, I don't have an issue with the font size of Lividian books, but there have been a recent few that felt like murder on my eyes. For example, I have the LE of Fracassi's A Child Alone with Strangers and keep moving it down my tbr pile due to how small the font seems and knowing it's going to be a struggle to get through because of it. Personally, I'd prefer to pay a bit more overall and have the slightly larger font for my LE purchases but I'm sure there are others who might balk at a price increase.

Same (though I had no issues with A CHILD ALONE WITH STRANGERS). Too small font, too-bright white paper, etc...ultimately, for those of us who do read their limited editions, it's all about the reading experience, and if it's not done right that experience is easily undermined. I picked up Midworld's BLACKTOP WASTELAND when it came out, and after struggling through the reading of that book with its tightly condensed and bold font -- oddest choices I've ever seen in a deluxe edition, and it very literally hurt/strained my eyes to read -- I had to sell it as the reading and collecting experience was awful and I knew there was zero chance I'd ever pick it up again. Sometimes it's the little things that make the biggest impact.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostVery happy to see Brian's email this morning regarding the interior font size for Leviathan and to know that the LE will have the larger size. Direct link to the books page. I've been on a book buying freeze but I may break that for this one.
