Same question! I mistakenly ordered from CD instead of Lividian because I got CD's email and thought I'd missed the Lividian announcement.

Any update on Wraith shipping that was ordered from Cemetery Dance? Thanks!

"Thrilling subplot"...? I think there were more than enough subplots as it was....He could have cut out 90% of that endless airplane sequence, and it would have made for a much more readable experience.Originally posted by RonClinton View PostI saw on X that Joe Hill mentioned a forthcoming deluxe limited edition of KING SORROW will include a "thrilling subplot" that he excised from the final draft of the trade edition due to concerns about length. I have to assume Lividian is doing the edition, since they seem to be Joe's limited publisher post-Subterranean Press, though I have zero insight as to whether or not that's accurate.

I'm still about 75ish% of the way through King Sorrow. This book is long! I am curious about a cut sub-plot though since that would have definitely pushed this to 1000 pages easilyOriginally posted by RonClinton View PostI saw on X that Joe Hill mentioned a forthcoming deluxe limited edition of KING SORROW will include a "thrilling subplot" that he excised from the final draft of the trade edition due to concerns about length. I think I'll be a little bit harder to knock off the fence. I have the three Thunderstorm collections in lettered editions and because they were so expensive (at least in my perspective; I know others spend a lot more money on books than the $350 each of those volumes cost) I'm a little hesitant on spending even more money on a good chunk of duplicate material. And, besides Centipede, I'm very hard to motivate to pull the trigger on books these days. However, as further details emerge, my mind may very well change. It is safe to say that I'm intrigued to hear specifics.Originally posted by sholloman81 View Post
Will be interested to see the production values and how much unpublished work is included and the number of pages that covers. I have all three Thunderstorm volumes and hope there is enough differences to push me to grab the new Lividian set. I'm a huge Fracassi fan; so, I'm sure that I won't be hard to knock off the fence!

I have the fracassi collections but nothing that isn't Thunderstorm so I should get new material. My copy of Wraith seems to be stuck in Arizona

Here you go!

My copy of Wraith arrived today. As usual an outstanding production Brian James Freeman
I do have to ask - any idea of how many copies got a Joe Hill doodle? I assume it's not every copy, but that man is a maniac when it comes to signing everything (I firmly believe that an unsigned Joe Hill book is worth more than a signed Joe Hill book. I think the same when it comes to Joe Lansdale books. Must be a Joe thing.)

Brian James Freeman Brian, obviously you're the man to ask on this concern so I don't make a bad assumption: Is the new set comprised mostly of material that hasn't been collected in Fracassi's other collections, or is this set designed instead to be largely an omnibus of his short fiction, with material both previously collected and early/uncollected?
