I have today to figure out if I'm in for a copy tomorrow. I've really been trying to curtail my purchases to those that are essential, and since I already have a signed Fine/Fine of that admittedly "crappy River City edition", I'm torn about what to do. It's an upgrade that I'd like to do, but not sure I need to do, especially with MINE and a few other near releases staring down the proverbial barrel. Looks like I have 24 hours to figure it out...Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

Like I said previously, I'm pretty sure I'm going to pass, but I'm feeling the itch for this one even though I don't have the other books in the series. I don't know. I'm also debating that new Ramsey Campbell edition from Chiroptera. AND I just remembered the really cool Story Box through the Lividian Patreon that I've been meaning to sign up for, as well. I cannot afford all of these, so decisions must be made!!Originally posted by RonClinton View Post

Oh, crud. And Mine, that you convinced me I must have...

I was there too! My wife was deathly afraid he was going to call on her to ask a question.Originally posted by RonClinton View Post
This one took some will power to resist...it's my favorite Hill work, but I thought Sub Press did an outstanding on their edition (and I even opted for their slipcase upgrade) so decided that one limited of NOS4A2 was enough for my shelf. Oh, and I also have a trade 1st that has a lot of sentimentality...I took my daughters -- who would have been fourteen years at the time -- with me to Hill's tour stop in Seattle for it in 2013, and I had him put their names on the Naughty List in the front. So between those two copies, I'm set. But congrats to those who snagged a copy...it looks great, and Palumbo's art never disappoints.
Got a fun picture of me and Joe holding one of my Sounders scarves too.

Just announced: our deluxe signed, numbered, and slipcased Limited Edition hardcover of Speaks the Nightbird by Robert McCammon, but these really are going FAST! Not trying to "sell" you on anything, they will be gone before lunch and most of the retailers are telling me their allotments are also already sold:

Glad I snagged my copy early via the Patreon Early-Bird pre-order period!Originally posted by Brian James Freeman View PostJust announced: our deluxe signed, numbered, and slipcased Limited Edition hardcover of Speaks the Nightbird by Robert McCammon, but these really are going FAST! The Preorder Gods were kind to me and had Speaks the Nightbird sell out super fast, sparing me any further deliberation. I was so very tempted, but since I didn't have any of the other titles--and really don't feel like paying the aftermarket prices some of them fetch--I just couldn't get down from that fence. Congratulations to Brian and all those who did get a copy. This edition looks beautiful.

Same. I never even saw an email from Lividian this morning (and still haven't), but the one from CD led me to the sell-out order page at around 9am.Originally posted by Sock Monkey View PostThe Preorder Gods were kind to me and had Speaks the Nightbird sell out super fast, sparing me any further deliberation. No idea why I didn't receive it, and, no, it's not in my Spam/Junk folder. I saw the CD email and Hunter's email about it, but no official Lividian. I do get Lividian's emails, though, so maybe this was the Book Gods trying to tell me something...Originally posted by Sock Monkey View Post
Huh. I wonder why you never received an email. My arrived around 7am. Maybe it went to spam?Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton
