Not sure where to put this question, but it came to mind when I ordered the s/l It, so I'll put it here:
How is it that I was able to score a s/l It by a customer not paying his bill? Everybody on this forum knows that that we preorder and pay in advance; I assume some entities are allowed to pay in installments for bulk orders, but I wonder what light you could shed on this, Brian or Dan.

It's someone paying by check, who never sent the check.
Just wanted to add my congratulations to CD. My copy arrived yesterday and what a glorious big arsed book it is! A brilliant addition to my library. Many thanks.

BTW, do I have to look for a replacement DJ when they're finally offered, or can I sign up somehow? I have tons of things going on and I'll end up forgetting but I have the feeling I'll have to somehow remember on my own?

Are the DJ's you already have damaged? If so shoot me an email and I'll send you a replacement. Otherwise, I'll try and remember to post here when I finally add them to the website.
Hi Dan, only the orignial SOD has a crease in the flap and I honsestly don't know if it came like that or if I somnehow did it when closing the cover when I was looking at it. It'd be rare for me too do it though, since I'm always so careful.
But I bought a book from Betts not long agao and David told me it was in perfect condition, and both flaps were creased. I'm not even sure how to grade books anymore. I don't think it's possible for a book to be "perfect"...there will always be a spot on the edges or just something wrong and I would still consider it mint.
Anyway, I got carried away again... the IT DJ is fine, but I just want to be sure I have a replacement and I'll buy one from you guys when you put them up.
Thanks.
No problem. We have replacement DJ's for SOD I and II on the site already if you're interested. I'll try and find some time to through the IT dj plus some other one's I haven't had time to yet on the site this week.
Ok, I'm going to go for the SOD one if I can afford it before they're gone. I'll have to make a reminder, but I'm going to need that one, plus IT, and I should really take a look at my SOD 2 as well.
