Well, the book was scheduled for release this last Tuesday and I received a shipping notice last week. Well they managed to get it to me on release day! I am not thoroughly enjoying reading about the time the moon turned to cheese! Love Scalzi's writing and 'WHEN THE MOON HITS YOUR EYE' is another fun read!
Sweet! It's always nice when a publisher is able to do that for their customers. I've had nothing but great experiences when ordering with SubPress. I currently have my eyes on their new C. Robert Cargill novella as well as their new Caitlin Kiernan collection but haven't pulled the trigger yet. Hoping to order them soon!

Just saw the SubPress newsletter. Man, that upcoming pre-order for Jeff Vandermeer's Absolution looks sweet but the price sure does suck! With tax and shipping, it's going to be over 200 for the LE. Not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger or not. Also wish SubPress had done the Southern Reach Trilogy instead of CD for the matching set (and because CD's version was such a letdown). Hopefully, I can stay strong and my FOMO won't kick-in!

All of this sums it up for me as well. I’m still a little on the fence, but I don’t know if I’ll pull that trigger. This is compounded when considering the Sub Press limited of Straub’s last book, which I really want but am having a hard time swallowing the price point. Too many books at too high prices make my purchases become very small.
