April does look really good and I've very tempted to pick up the Chapman. On the other hand, another month of a breather from the onslaught of books is sounding pretty darn tempting...

Very excited by the April pre-orders! I grabbed the Castro & Chapman titles and passed on the Strand title.

Just received my copies of Nick Roberts' Anathema & Anathema Legacy. These will be my first Nick Roberts reads. Hopefully, I can dig into these sometime soon.

Just received my copies of "No Gods, Only Chaos", "Blossoming Decay", & "The Secret History of the Palace Theater". They each look amazing and arrived very quickly. Can't wait to look at them more closely once I get home. Very excited for these!

I ended up passing on that one. Too many other large purchases lately (and still to come).Originally posted by sholloman81 View Post
I felt the same way and ended up picking up the bundle, though I still feel a bit guilty about splurging on No Gods, Only Chaos. Hopefully, my impulse buy will pay off...

I'm definitely picking up the two that haven't been publicly announced yet. I'm trying to refrain from buying titles that I'm not familiar with (or are from authors in unfamiliar with), but damn if No Gods, Only Chaos doesn't sound intriguing as hell...

I'm intrigued by the already announced No Gods, Only Chaos. And the non-sequel title of the other two. Sorry, trying to stay vague since they aren't announced yet. I'm not sure if I'm going to pull the trigger on either, though. I have my eye on a couple of books on the aftermarket I'd like to pull the trigger on and there isn't enough room in the budget for both.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostAnyone grab one of the March pre-orders? If anyone needs it I ended up with an extra copy of Devil's Pocketbook by Ross Jeffrey. Just send me a good offer.

McBride is his real name, Laurence is the pseudonym. I interviewed him a while back for the WFR NEP feature.Originally posted by brlesh View Post
He hasn’t had a small press LE in 4 or 5 years, but he’s publishing pretty regularly.
According to his website, it was about this time that he quit his day job and started writing full time.
His Unit 51 trilogy was published as first editions mass market PB.
Then he published the Elimination Protocol trilogy, a first edition hardcover series under the name Michael Laurence, which I believe is his real name (I think McBride is a pseudonym).

On the Michael McBride front, his latest novel Spores was self published at the end of January in both hardcover and trade paperback formats.Originally posted by brlesh View Post

Then he started self-publishing, first the stand alone novel Chimera, then another post-apocalyptic trilogy, The Ruination series.
He has another novel listed as upcoming on his webpage: Spores.
Don’t know if this is a stand alone or part of a series.
He had a couple of projects with CD listed on his website, but that was a couple of years ago, and doubt those will ever happen.
He used to publish pretty regularly with Delirium / Darkfuse (now defunct) and Thunderstorm Books, but it’s been at least 5 years since his last TB publication.
