The Lettered Artist Edition of 'Salem's Lot isn't finished yet, but here is the binding approval we were sent by the printer a while back:

        Looks awesome.
Always looking to rent out a hidden floor above or below an old library, preferably brick or stone with hidden passageways. No pets (except cats).

Dear God! These Stephen King lettered editions are beautiful. I wish that I could easily spend that kind of money on a book. I might never have one on my bookshelf, but at least I get to drool at the pretty pictures!

At least, we can commiserate together!

On the other hand, to be in the position where one can buy a $200+ book isn't such a bad place to be. I remember a time I was happy to be able to buy fifty cent books at a library book sale!

Very well stated and a great prospective.

One of the most gorgeous editions CD has ever published.
I haven't ordered this and now I wish I had.

That's fantastic! Especially like the contrasted inverted colors in the 3rd pic.

Thanks, I really liked how this one turned out! I think this will be a really great looking set of books when all is said and done. 'Salem's Lot is coming together nicely and the early specs we've picked for The Shining are looking great!

That looks really nice. I can see how much work went into the binding, and the gold leaf is a nice touch.

Since this one will be headed to the printer in about six weeks, I guess it's okay for me to show off some quick photos of the interoffice proof and the official review copy now:
