Since this one will be headed to the printer in about six weeks, I guess it's okay for me to show off some quick photos of the interoffice proof and the official review copy now:

That looks really nice. I can see how much work went into the binding, and the gold leaf is a nice touch.Originally posted by Brian James Freeman View PostI just realized I never posted my photos of our Lettered Artist Edition of CARRIE, so here they are for anyone who is interested:

Thanks, I really liked how this one turned out! I think this will be a really great looking set of books when all is said and done. 'Salem's Lot is coming together nicely and the early specs we've picked for The Shining are looking great!Originally posted by bugen View PostThat's fantastic! Especially like the contrasted inverted colors in the 3rd pic.

One of the most gorgeous editions CD has ever published.
I haven't ordered this and now I wish I had.
And before too long The Shining will be upon us....
Don't know if I can be strong again....

Very well stated and a great prospective.Originally posted by Sock Monkey View PostAt least, we can commiserate together!
On the other hand, to be in the position where one can buy a $200+ book isn't such a bad place to be. I remember a time I was happy to be able to buy fifty cent books at a library book sale!
