As far as the production schedule goes with that, I'm not 100% sure on where it falls in line, but because of the delays on Night Shift it is much further along in the process than the next book in line would typically be at this point.
Thanks Dan! I'll keep an eye out!

I'm sure we'll have some extra gift editions once it's out.

Of all the amazing authors we publish, there's one in particular who is tough on our proofreaders because they get caught-up in, and carried away by, his storytelling... This book is going to prove to be a challenge for them, me thinks:

Am super excited as I just picked up the CD gift editions of Carrie, The Shinning, & Salem's lot. Have had my eye on them for awhile as I missed out on them when they were first released. Also have Night Shift on preorder via Subterranean Press; so, I guess I'm all in on the Doubleday Years set. Can't wait for the next one to be announced!

Credit for this goes to ICry4Oy, who posted this info in the TDT forum:

...which should probably also be seen here.

Apparently Mindy mentioned this somewhere, but I can hardly believe this is correct, as the CDCC have already received their The Stand pre-order announcement.
And if this rumor turns out to be correct, does anyone know the reason why?

I could be wrong, but I don't remember us talking about switching the order at all. So I would say it's safe to assume we're keeping with the original order.

Also, at this rate, I wouldn't doubt that The Stand will have a 2020 publication date regardless. Things are backed up.

I love a little intrigue to go with my Monday morning coffee. Happy to posit a theory: could it be related to the Great Sleeping Beauties Printer Snafu of '18? The printer that was committed to SB, Night Shift, and The Stand screwed the pooch. So the contract went a different printer and now that train has to get back on track and rolling. And while that's happening, CD can roll out Pet Sematary at a different printer on a parallel track so we have something to read while we wait.

    My theory.

Are you using the same printer as the 'Salem's Lot portfolio?
