Yep, Saginaw, he's got the stuff. You left a solid review as well.

Mr. Cranham, when you get there, just remember the little people.

Hi all. Cyberpunk/cypherpunk fans might be interested in checking out the first in an 8-series (octalogy) I'm writing with a great Hong Kong team:

              That looks awesome, William.

Special offer to everyone here at the CD forums (until I run out). If you'd like an audiobook copy of my collection, Fresh Cut Tales, shoot me a PM and I can hook you up with an Audible discount code. Nelson W. Pyles did an awesome job narrating the collection. Disintegration_RT_Welsh.jpg

Just got the latest blurb for DISINTEGRATION from Irvine Welsh! Stoked. Here's all four:

“A dark existential thriller of unexpected twists, featuring a drowning man determined to pull the rest of the world under with him. A stunning and vital piece of work.”
—Irvine Welsh, author of Trainspotting and Filth

“Sweet hot hell, Richard Thomas writes like a man possessed, a man on fire, a guy with a gun to his head. And you’ll read Disintegration like there’s a gun to yours, too. A twisted masterpiece.”
—Chuck Wendig, author of Blackbirds and Double Dead

“Thomas builds his universe and its population with terse prose and dynamic, often horrifyingly visceral imagery that unspools with grand weirdness and intensity. Then he rips that universe apart, brick by bloody brick. Disintegration is provocative. It’s also damned fine noir.”
—Laird Barron, author of The Beautiful Thing That Awaits Us All and The Croning

“Disintegration is gritty neo-noir; a psycho-sexual descent into an unhinged psyche and an underworld Chicago that could very well stand in for one of the rings of Dante's Hell. Richard Thomas' depraved-doomed-philosopher hitman is your guide. I suggest you do as he says and follow him, if you know what's good for you.”
—Paul Tremblay, author of A Head Full of Ghosts and The Little Sleep

Congratulations, Richard--well-earned praise from four heavy-hitters who know genuine talent when they meet it in a dark alley.

I'll be doing a horror writer's workshop this weekend in Greenville SC with James Newman. We recently went on the local news to promote it.

Later this year I'll have a new Halloween themed collection coming out, called HALLOWEEN HOUSE OF HORRORS. I'm a Halloween nut and write Halloween themed stories every October, so I'm very excited.

A couple of things recently I'm very proud of. In the latest issue of Apex, I have an essay about my experience being a gay author working in the horror genre. http://www.apex-magazine.com/a-whole-new-world/

And my little haiku placed in the February Necon Flash Fiction Challenge: http://neconebooks.com/flash-fiction/
