Love the choice of Cusack. Can't think of a Cusack film I didn't like. Williams directed Paranormal Activity 2."I'm a vegan. "

That is my one concern with Carrie - sure the effects are going to be up to date, but is it going to watered down, or altered too much, etc.....

I like to think of it this way, remakes aren't really for the generation that saw the original in theaters, they're for the next generation of viewers. It's like the whole stigma of the two different Star Wars trilogy's. The people that grew up with the original trilogy really didn't like the new movies that much, but the further away from the generation that saw them in theaters you get the more it swings in the other direction.CD Email: [email protected]

I agree with Dan on the Remake stigma. They're meant for the new generation. Unfortunately the new generation just plain SUCKS! Seriously. My generation is not the greatest but seriously...the kids coming behind me, WTF is wrong with them.
Anyway, I like John Cusack but I just can't picture him in Cell...AT ALL! But we shall see...
