I figured it out. As long as you have a digital camera, you can too. I've held that version of "My Pretty Pony" (the red cover and slipcased, right?). I still regret not buying it when I had the chance, but it was before I started to serious think about collecting.

Yep Terry, that's exactly the tome of which I speak, my friend. The cool story of this book is that I found it on a bargain book table in front of a Walden's Book store and bought it as a birthday present for my then preschool daughter. When I realized who had written it, after wrapping it and giving it to my little angel, I stole it back and covered the slipcase with a brown paper wrapper so she wouldn't recognize it. Aren't I just the most evil father ever? She never remembered it anyway. She was too preoccupied with her other birthday toys.

Well I heard that you're leavin'
        Gonna leave me far behind
'Cause you found a brand new lover
You decided that I'm not your kind

So I pulled your name out of my Rolodex
And I tore all your pictures in two
And I burned down the malt shop where we used to go
Just because it reminds me of you

That's right you ain't gonna see me cryin'
I'm glad that you found somebody new
'Cause I'd rather spend eternity eating shards of broken glass
Than spend one more minute with you

I guess I might seem kinda bitter
You got me feeling down in the dumps
'Cause I'm stranded all alone in the gas station of love
And I have to use the self-service pumps

Oh, so honey, let me help you with that suitcase
You ain't gonna break my heart in two
'Cause I'd rather get a hundred thousand paper cuts on my face
Than spend one more minute with you

I'd rather rip out my intestines with a fork
Than watch you going out with other men
I'd rather slam my fingers in a door
Again and again and again and again and again

Oh, can't you see what I'm tryin' to say, Darlin...

I'd rather have my blood sucked out by leeches
Shove an icepick under a toenail or two
I'd rather clean all the bathroom in Grand Central Station with my tongue
Than spend one more minute with you

Yes, I'd rather jump naked on a huge pile of thumbtacks
Or stick my nostrils together with crazy glue
I'd rather dive into a swimming pool filled with double-edged razor blades
Than spend one more minute with you

I'd rather rip my heart out of my ribcage with my bare hands
and then throw it on the floor and stomp on it 'till I die
Than spend one more minute with you

        One More Minute---Weird All Yankovic

The line about burning down the malt shop always makes me think of this song being sung by Scooby-Doo to Shaggy after one of the many times he walks out on Mystery, Inc.!

This is one of my favorite songs and holds some personal meaning to me as it was part of a video that was done for a friends funeral.

If I Ever Leave This World Alive by Flogging Molly

If I ever leave this world alive
I'll thank for all the things you did in my life
If I ever leave this world alive
I'll come back down and sit beside your
          feet tonight
Wherever I am you'll always be
          More than just a memory
If I ever leave this world alive

If I ever leave this world alive
I'll take on all the sadness
          That I left behind
If I ever leave this world alive
The madness that you feel will soon subside
So in a word don't shed a tear
I'll be here when it all gets weird
If I ever leave this world alive

So when in doubt just call my name
          Just before you go insane
If I ever leave this world
Hey I may never leave this world
But if I ever leave this world alive

She says I'm okay; I'm alright,
Though you have gone from my life
          You said that it would,
Now everything should be all right

She says I'm okay; I'm alright,
Though you have gone from my life
          You said that it would,
Now everything should be all right
          Yeah should be alright

Squire, that's my favorite, favorite Weird Al song! Followed closely by "Trigger Happy". My favorite line is:

"'Cause I'm stranded all alone in the gas station of love
And I have to use the self-service pumps"

            Pure poetry, there.

OMM is the best thing he's ever done. I'm also fond of "The Good Old Days."
