It was certainly good to see the update back in November. My best guess at this point is the books will be shipped in January 2026.

Update for those not on Facebook:
***UPDATE TIME!***
*The Stand--
The books are fine, the cases are still coming and the end result will turn out great, but there is some bad news. The production company making the slipcases has had drama that is putting their estimated delivery time toward April. I will detail the hows and whys at the bottom, along with my seething, gut-churning frustration and fury. It shouldn't delay the traycases as much, as they're no longer going to be staggered and should complete about the same time as the slipcases. I hate the delay. I hope they manage to beat that estimation. This job needs to be finished.
*CD 79--
They're actively shipping! I believe some of the randomly sent King sigs have gone out. I know some more are yet to ship. We hit a slight hiccup in the absolute madness that is directly shipping to the subscribers, but the mailing service that we'd originally planned was simply taking too long and not being communicative so we're getting them out directly.
*The "Forthcoming Grab Bag (2018*)--
These limiteds have shipped! There may be some leftovers, so please reach out to Mindy if keen. Tomorrow's Journal is all gone, and we may be down to PCs for Suffer the Children. Will have to see what the CDCC pulls when they get their first run offer!
*Blackhole Sundown/Husks/Ash Wednesday/Interview with a Vampire slipcases are all underway! Will have Ash Wednesday up for preorder this coming week, as production is fully paid for and moving steadily along.
*I'm planning to begin work toward a hugely popular upcoming Graveyard Edition in February! When it's actively underway I will give more details.

The slipcase issue with The Stand:
In December, I posted pictures of The Stand's awesome slipcases/traycase samples that were absolutely flawless. The company producing them had just been bought by a competitor, but we were assured smooth sailing, January arrival in warehouse. Pop the metaphorical champagne.
Come January, the people I was working with were laid off without warning. The factory was closed. All projects had to begin again from the top at the purchaser's favored factory.
Several not-so-happy phone meetings (and a noticeable increase in blood pressure, ulcers, and a few newly minted terms that are anatomically startling) later, they're going to try to accelerate it and produce the GE and the AE slipcases/traycases simultaneously, but I'm still going by their original estimation unless they can indicate otherwise (April). We've reviewed the new samples of the slipcase, made the changes to get it back to awesome quality, and it should get back to rolling. The traycase samples should be out our way shortly.

I'm surprised they haven't been added to the production updates section...I didn't realize there was somewhere else I should be checking. Could you please share? Thank you.

So rather than send an email to those who have purchased and are waiting for this product or posting it to their company website, where they have told us to look for updates, they are posting to social media site.

I placed my order in January 2018. I occasionally check the 'production updates' page on the CD website to see if my 7 year wait for this book will ever come to an end.
I was completely unaware that in order to receive timely info on this book I had to register with facebook and join a private facebook group.
It seems as if CD go out of their way to alienate long term customers. I've spent thousands and thousands of dollars on CD products over a couple of decades and I can not imagine spending another cent on anything they offer once (if) I get the backlog of books that are owed to me.
