Having just finished looking through the gift edition of It, I can confidently say that if someone needed proof that book production/publishing can be raised to the level of art, It is that proof!!! Owning a copy of both volumes Secretary of Dreams, Legacies and more than 200 other books from Cemetery Dance, I had high expectations for this book and those expectations were left so far behind, I can't even see them from up here.

The design work is stunning and there is SO MUCH great art in there, it's literally saturated with art. It is a beautiful volume and easily a highlight of my library. Having this edition in my library is a privilege.

I applaud the Cemetery Dance team for a first class effort. Bravo all and thank you!!!

We thought it was food poisoning -- had all of the symptoms -- but it turned out to be the plague (or maybe just a really terrible strain of the flu) because it knocked me down, too. Sickest I've ever been. We're both back at the office today, feeling like someone used us as punching bags, but getting better. I have 350+ emails to reply to, and Kate has about 100, so if you emailed either of us, we're replying as fast as we can!

We probably won't get any shipped today. Kate and Brian stayed home today as Kate apparently has some form of food poisoning, and Dave and I where finishing up the last of the gift editions (with the exception of a few non-us orders, as we're waiting on customs envelopes). Also we pushed the last of the orders for the calendar out the door today. Shipping will most certainly start tomorrow though as we're all caught up now and starting to prep to start the shipping. I think Mindy is starting to number some books as I'm typing this.

Edit: Also, I forgot that the traycases only just got here like half an hour ago.

Hey Ron, I used to work for UPS from 1990 - 1994 in Package Tracking Systems. I started in Paramus, then we moved to Mahwah. I loved it here, but couldn't resist a 38% raise to move to another company.

Dave ... wow, small world. My boss is actually in Paramus and I get up there once or twice a year. Before that he was in Mahwah - have to admit I like Mahwah the best. I am in the Dallas, TX area. I hear you on the 38%, I've had some interesting offers but I love my job and feel great about the overall compensation as a 2 unit. That is so cool, you worked for UPS ... I wonder if we know any of the same people? We should continue this one through the inbox ...

For the most part it can be, since we've shipped to a "choose your shipping method" at checkout.

I do seem to remember UPS being an option. But I would always try and go with the cheapest method, even including rather expensive books.
I made sure though, I upped the shipping method for the IT limited.

lol well the way I feel now with the PO losing expensive watches of mine, I'm pretty satified it's being shipped UPS. Maybe all CD stuff should be shipped that way? Just a thought....
