A couple day belated congrats to the Baltimore Orioles on clinching the AL East - my Jays didn't give much of a challenge in this last series. What's with the air in Baltimore....... made pitches fly all over the place....

So...last weekend I wake up Saturday morning - it's nice out, sunny, temps in the 50s (cooler than usual for us this time of year). We planted grass seed and covered it with straw the weekend before.
My wife says to me: "OK - grab your book (which is Insomnia right now) and your job is to sit outside and make sure no birds come to eat the grass seed." My response: "uhm...OK.....and what are you going to do?"
So yup.... I get to sit outside and read and by the way.....there weren't any birds coming around.
