    Tasty Libation Thread!!!

It has been requested, so here we go:

Every good book deserves to be downed with a delicious beverage of choice. During a marathon photoshoot, I consumed two Guiness Black Lagers, which I posted the empties for--well, one was empty (they were signed in fascimile, after all).

I like my beer thick, dark, and bitter (a most unpleasant combination in women, I've discovered). So here is my beverage of choice this week (I'm Two down already)

I'm still hacking my way through War&Peace, tho I did break for a couple of days to read The Back of Beyond ARC.

Let's see some of your tasty libations of choice!

Silly me, forgot that I said I would make a thread for this. Oh well, those beverages must have gotten to me!

Here's a picture of the very first beer I made. It's a deliciously hoppy amber ale.

Pretty good considering it was made mostly from a kit. I have 2 other different kinds of beer made and what called a "apfelwine" which is essentially a type of cider. I'll have to put some in the fridge and post some pictures another night.

Hmm, I know I took some last night, out on the town, but I kind of went a bit over the limit and it seems they were deleted.

                        Tonight's brew of choice.

                        TL.jpg

A standard oatmeal stout, but the coffee gives it a full bodied taste that is slightly bitter. It's going down well with the flesh-eating zombies of Undead. I gave up coffee on 17 Aug (the first month was horrible), so this is my first taste of it in nearly 4 months.

A local Bay Area brew... Anchor Steam.

(For the record, I will only post beer photos that I took myself.)
