    Yep. It is over the top expensive. I try and catch Michaels when they are having a 50% off sale. It happens a few times a year I think.

    The only book (save for a surfer mystery I read so long ago I can't recall anything about it) I've read of his is, of course, that "awful" book, THE FORCE, and while it started strong I was also unimpressed, and decided he just wasn't for me, contrary to the love many have for his body of work. I couldn't figure out what I was missing that everybody else saw. Maybe with the above in mind, I'll have to give him another shot...maybe.

    I know that it's not fancy or limited, but, I just picked-up the new Don Winslow, City of Fire, and am very excited to read it. Anytime a new Don Winslow book is released is a reason to celebrate as he might be my favorite (living) crime writer (with James Sallis a close second).

    Got a big pile of books from my King's Way Press lifetime subscription yesterday. 27 hardcovers and paperbacks.
