Periodically PS Publishing offers some great deals in individual books, bundles and grab bags. If you haven't you should subscribe to their newsletter. Pete sends an update once a week on Fridays.

You're most welcome. Figure that'd knock a few folks off the fence regarding this title

I jumped on the PS Publishing sale also. I picked up the Illustrated Lovecraft bundle: http://pspublishing2.com/offer---all...over-911-p.asp, which I have been interested in for a long time, but needed it to be at a more reasonable price point.

That reminds me of another point on PSPublishing specials. Pete runs a separate website with most of his discount offers. There is a link from his main site http://www.pspublishing.co.uk/ but you can directly view the specials at http://pspublishing2.com/

My understanding is that they are clearance not dinged. I have but a few titles and they have not been dinged.

Looks like Peter Straub's Ghost Story is on sale for $1.99 at Amazon

                    https://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Story-P.../dp/B015DHB3VE

I know quite a few members have talked about this one, and it's been in my To Read list for a long time, so I'm going to pull the trigger. $2.20 (curses 10% sales tax!) isn't too much to spend on something.

Still one of my favorite novels period. SUCH a great novel.

Thanks for the tip, I thought I already had this but found it wasn't in my kindle library. I know there's a Ghost Story movie from the 80s, is that based on this novel, and if so, how does it compare?

I personally love the movie Ghost Story but it is hard to compare to the book as it lacks the complexity of the story.

I know that other threads have a lot of discussion around Josh Malerman, so if you want to give him a try, Bird Box is $2 on Kindle today.
