We have a few "leftover" sets of the recent Stephen King Grab Bag if anyone is interested:

PLEASE NOTE: These were assembled from the same items as the Grab Bags that already shipped, so if you've ordered this before, you will get duplicates. But if you missed out or just want to get one now, this is a great "second chance" we rarely get to offer.

Wouldn't that be great if The Shining is number one on the paper back list and Dr. Sleep was number one on the Hardcover list at the same time.

I may try to find a used version of The Shining at a yard sale or something. Missed out on huge used book sale, where funds go to towards The Terry Fox Foundation run they are having in a week or 2 locally.

In a slightly related point, I was in Powell's books over the weekend and noticed that they had stacks of the paperback version of The Shining. My first thought was did someone order too much, and then I remembered the immanent release of Doctor Sleep.

That is a pretty good deal too. I know most King books for Kobo usually run around $8.99+, except the shorter ones like In the Tall Grass for example.

Starting Dec 1, we are allowed to void any 3 yr contracts after a year or 2 I think, here in Canada.

I'm happy with my Droid smartphone. I could get a new one now, but no interest in a new 2 year agreement since I may just switch to a home phone being that it is much cheaper on a monthly basis than a cell phone.

RJK - They do make some great phones. I don't need the latest and greatest though. If I can get one that has the basic, and a few fancier features that's fine with me. My wife has the same phone, so bbm is a free feature - like that part, plus with opposite work shifts, it easy to keep in touch.

That bad part is one day the battery lasts all day, no problem, the next it shows a full charge and then 10 minutes later is dead.

I would get one again, but of course, not the latest one - I can't justify spending $300 (I have not idea what the pricing structure is) and still be on a 3 yr contract, if I can get the same contract and get an older model for $20 or even free.

LOL, sorry you have to deal stupid phone! I have no use for a blackberry phone myself, so I'll never bother with them
