Speaking of Bradbury, don't think I mentioned this on the board yet, but received a nice surprise a couple weeks ago:

This will truly be a month of Bradbury to remember.
Nice addition, by the way!

There was a big box on my porch when I got home today. Instead of Something Wicked, it actually contained the unsigned copy of The Haunting of Hill House. It is so damn sexy that I'm worried my unboxing will get flagged as pornography, haha!

Great to see the other two landmark John Franklin Bardin novels publish and join the much earlier S/L HC of THE DEADLY PERCHERON. Ordered this morning, of course. These three novels are terrific...I only wish the rest of his body of work had been as inspired, but anyone who can leave behind three novels of such originality leaves a fine legacy indeed.Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

Martin, where do you see your label and package info on Informed Delivery? I signed up a couple weeks ago as I wanted the same type of advance notice you receive and mention, but all I see on the USPS app are my letters for that day only, and while I’ve received packages since sign-up it never alerts me (always “0” packages), and I certainly never get a label-created notice. Am I doing something wrong when opening up my Informed Delivery page?Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

The Mailpieces tab shows today plus the prior six days. Have never loaded the app so I am not sure how it varies. I will add that USPS is clearly overwhelmed and the website tells me it can't display my information about 50% of the time.

I know it's a bit clunky, but, once you use it awhile, it comes together, and you'll be checking it obsessively every day like the rest of us junkies. I've found it immensely useful.

Ron- yes, all this, as Martin so clearly lays out here. The only other thing I'd add is that once you click on that "packages" tab (which isn't the default when you first log in- it's always "mail" first), you should see a list of packages starting with what is on track for delivery next, descending in order of label creation by the shipper. The various status' are In Transit, Accepted, Pre-Shipment, and Delivered The thing here is that there is no photo scan like there is for the mailpieces; it's just data from whatever shipping software the shipper uses: i.e. Stamps.com, Shopify, Rapid Enterprises, etc. I believe Centipede uses Stamps.com. But- it, generally, and- frustratingly does NOT show WHO is sending the package. It just shows tracking number info- and the location from where it's being sent. This is where you can dope out what's what: Centipede ships from Denver (Subterranean from Burton, MI, etc.), so if you see a Stamps.com generated package from Denver anywhere in your queue- that's your Something Wicked. . Mine was just generated yesterday, and is in the "Accepted" stage.
