YES! A few collectors in the first shipments found small binding errors on their books, and because CD's pallet hadn't shipped yet, I asked the case maker to open and inspect the entire shipment. (Better to check then than have to ship a bunch of books back.) They didn't find any problems, and I didn't hear from anyone else from the customer shipments, so it must have been a fluke. But it took a while to repack all of the boxes, etc. The pallet is on the way to CD now, though. Sorry for the wait!Originally posted by havok View PostAny update on Wraith shipping that was ordered from Cemetery Dance? Thanks!
Also: I do NOT get notifications for posts here anymore, so if anyone is ever wondering why I haven't answered a question, please do me a favor and ping me via email to look here so I can look like a responsible business owner. <G>

Has the author been announced yet for this big new set of books Lividian is going be doing? From the hints, I'm guessing this going to be Koontz. However, I would love it if someone just buckled down and gave me a complete set of Lansdale works. I know SST has done a lot of Lansdale and has mentioned the possibility of doing the full Hap & Leonard series, but I want a firm commitment from someone, dang it!
Maybe if I just put it out into the universe, it'll happen...

Probably not. My phrasing may have led to some confusion. I was referring to the statement in the latest newsletter: "This April we'll also be announcing a new series that will hopefully collect the entire bibliography of one of our favorite authors into a beautiful but affordable library of special editions." Plans seem to be two books for this year and three to four more per year after that. I remember there were a few more hints, but I don't remember them specifically. However, whatever was said led me to speculate on it being Koontz.Originally posted by RonClinton View Post

Ah, okay, gotcha. I do recall that now, and you may very well be right about Koontz. The only thing that gives me pause is the overwhelmingly huge "entire bibliography" of Koontz...I think he's up to around 125 novels at this point, maybe more. I know Brian is an ambitious publisher, but that would seem too much a challenge for even him to do in a lifetime, even at three or four books a year.Originally posted by Sock Monkey View Post

Agreed on all those points. The reason I think I leaned toward Koontz was a few hints--if I remember correctly, please don't take this as gospel or anything because I could be remembering incorrectly--that it was someone Brian had worked with at both CD and Lividian and there was a rather large bibliography of books. I tend to be wrong almost every time I hazard a guess at something, but either way, I'm excited to hear the official announcement in April.Originally posted by RonClinton View Post

Michael Koryta / Scott Carson, perhaps. Twenty novels, according to Wikipedia, which seems a much more manageable bibliography to reprint in its entirety (and Lividian's already done several). But who knows...will be interesting to see who the author is.Originally posted by Sock Monkey View Post
