I've never been a fan of their business model. I still get the emails, but I've never purchased anything from them.

I'm probably just feeling the holiday money pinch. For whatever reason the offer rubbed me the wrong way.
It's only $30 and I am a supporter of small press. I probably just need a chill pill.

Seems like I should cancel my original order and replace the order with the 20% discount. That would be $30 right back in my pocket.

Laymon and Thunderstorm are a great fit. Paul at TSB has a great record of getting books out in a timely manner as well.

Or a whole new line of nice Laymon reprints at Thunderstorm Books, that would also be a good fit.

I don't know why, but I always forget about SST. And they'd be a great fit for Laymon's works.

Anyhow to answer kshane's question, SubPress and Suntup seem to hit their target release windows far more often than not. Centipede is also decent, except on the really big titles (looking at you, Dune) - however I suspect that's more a product of Jerad typically not even making an official announcement until the books are rolling at the printers, and not taking preorders until they're en route to him.

People were asking above about other possible Laymon releases (which I would love to see happen too), but let's just say that I am confident Kelly doesn't want another publisher who delays books by years. Hence my question. Are there any small press publishers who are able to consistently publish on time? I honestly don't know. But if there are, Kelly might want to work with them and Laymon fans could get more Laymon books published.
