What does everyone think of the June books? I grabbed all three, but my wallet is hating me at the moment for doing so!

I'm in for the lettered! I want to pick up the other two as well, but I've already overspent on books lately, so I'm trying to be good.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostWhat does everyone think of the June books? I grabbed all three, but my wallet is hating me at the moment for doing so!

Looks like a pretty good line-up. The only book on my radar is the lettered. I'm very much on the fence. Right now, I'm in kind of a sea change as to collecting due to finances and need to make some tough decisions about what I will be continuing to collect and what's not going to make the cut. I really want it, but we'll see.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostWhat does everyone think of the June books? I grabbed all three, but my wallet is hating me at the moment for doing so!

Sweet! I couldn't pass on this one either. Love that cover art! Will be interesting to see what the final number of copies will be for this book.Originally posted by Ben Staad View PostI ended up picking up this one. Looking forward to the new material in this volume.

Fairly long preorder window for this book so I expect this will have a decent print run.

Will almost certainly pick up the Fracassi during the preorder window. I have read two of the four novellas already, which is giving me some pause, but I haven't read either SHILOH or, of course, the new one. I still have so much Fracassi to actually read that it feels a little silly to buy yet another volume to add to a half-shelf of books with only five or six read, but <shrug> that's the way these things go, I suppose.
Curious to see what the last comment about "More exciting Philip Fracassi news is just around the corner!" turns out to be.Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton

Me too! I believe all of his books but his forthcoming one (The Autumn Springs Retirement Home Massacre) have limited editions already; so, I'm hoping for that book or some new stuff to be released by Thunderstorm. That would rock!Originally posted by RonClinton View PostCurious to see what the last comment about "More exciting Philip Fracassi news is just around the corner!" turns out to be.

TASRHM is my guess as well, though maybe something original for Thunderstorm will be offered...time will tell.Originally posted by sholloman81 View Post

That Lutzke looks intriguing (and I haven't read any of the content before), but I just last night finally opted -- right down to the deadline/wire -- for a copy of Fracassi's 4 TO DIE FOR, so that's my Thunderstorm budget for the month. No regrets, and if I had any I'd just look over at my shelf and see Thunderstorm's edition of HALO OF FLIES and I already feel better. I do need to read more Lutzke, though, as I honestly have not read nearly as much as I should.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostAnyone purchasing the July pre-orders? On the fence. All three look good, but I'm honestly having to reconsider the ol' book budget and some things have to fall to the wayside. I've had to pass on the Brandon Ford Screaming Cacti volume and the latest Tempest title, losing matching letters and numbers, respectively. Also had to pass on the Fracassi lettered, as well, ending my run of matching letters for the traycased lettered editions. Kinda bummed about all of that.Originally posted by sholloman81 View PostAnyone purchasing the July pre-orders? I'm grabbing the Lutzke for sure.
