Totally get it and do the same thing with their Lettered editions, I'll grab an occasional one-off but am not a regular buyer of them.

Stage Whispers has been claimed. Now I only have 3 left of the first 50. Lights Out, Damned Highway and Breeding & Feeding Ground.

        I also grabbed Devil's Pocketbook.

I would LOVE to have a copy of Stage Whispers!

Snagged a like-new copy of Ronald Kelly's "Blood Kin" for $40 which seems pretty fair. This will actually be my first Ronald Kelly book. His stuff has always interested me, but I've avoided collecting him in the past because he's written so darn much and it feels like it would take me forever to track it all down.

Cool. Personally I like his writing a lot. Hope you enjoy it.

I'm fairly certain Ron is an author your either going to really like or really hate. He has a style that is a little hokey (sp?) but sits well with me.

Nice. One of my regrets is that I didn't collect the Ronald Kelly Library deluxe set when Thunderstorm published it (of which BLOOD KIN was one, IIRC). But I have all his original Zebra pbs of them, so I guess that's something.

I'll commiserate with you on this one as well, Ron. Wish I had gotten in on that set. It's on the "track down" list, but pretty far down.

Did you pick this up on eBay? If so, I think we were looking at the same listing. It's a smoking price and I'm glad you got it!

Pulled the trigger on the new Fracassi lettered. It was a stretch on the budget, but I kept the matching set going. I kinda hope February is a slower month because January has been brutal.

I managed to put together a matching set of Michael McBride's God's End trilogy. One book from an eBay seller in NC, two from a seller in CA. All three are Josh Boone's PC copies.

Pretty cool feeling to find all three!

Yes, just happened to randomly be on Ebay and noticed it. The price was smoking; so, I decided to take a chance that I wouldn't get burned and it worked out great.

Thanks! Have no idea what to expect when it comes to his prose, but I have ready a few of his newsletters, and all of his regionalisms remind me a bit of Joe Lansdale.

Congratulations, that's a pretty nice feat. Is McBride still publishing books? He seems to have been absent from the small press world as of late. I haven't read much of his work, but I liked what I did.

Yeah, $40 for a Thunderstorm book is a pretty safe bet. Even if you don't wind up loving the book, it was a relatively low investment.
