Did Sub Press officially say that's the cover image? When I first saw it on the website I thought it looked almost like a stock image.

If you save the image off their website it says something like "cover no text" and Rodriguez said he submitted it the other day.

maybe that's the gift edition cover and hopefully the signed edition will be anything other than that

And what is also stellar about it is that given the bizarre and random nature of the image, it really could be used as the cover for any of his books and make just as much sense,

My first thought was South Park...I guess we'll see when the final cover is approved. Sub Press usually have great cover art.

I will say, it's not that I dislike the picture. I just don't thnik it is "serious" enough for The Shining. I so wish CD had done The Shining.
