No matter the reason I will not pre-order from CD and will not order from CD without going through the normal channels. I checked my records. In 5 days (02/23/2007) my oldest pre-order (Shocklines) will be 19 years old. I am not even sure how many pre-orders I have because I honestly stopped caring. I will eventually get them or I won't. What I will not do is add more to the list.

Just got an e-mail from Blu Gilliand saying he was leaving CD online. Probably a huge blow to the site.

Figured I try here before going to eBay. Anyone interested in the complete collection of Cemetery Dance Magazine? Looking to offload mine. All the oldest (hardest to find) are in great shape. Some of the newer ones are my subscription copies so there’s occasionally signs that they’ve been handled/read. If anyone’s interested let me know.

Good luck with eBay...shipping on that huge lot is going to be brutal, even with Media Mail. I toyed with selling mine (complete except for a couple issues) in advance of our move to another state a year-and-a-half ago, but decided to just keep and move it with us. Not only because ultimately I did want to keep them around -- for the non-fiction, if nothing else -- but I knew the shipping charge on the lot was probably going to be a tough obstacle to a sale.

Thanks man. Wish I had a somewhat local buyer. I like road trips and I'd be willing to deliver to locations within a certain radius. I'm in central California by the way. I'm watching a compete collection (minus the last 4 or 5 issues) on ebay. Not auction style. They're shooting for $4500 OBO. I can't really see them getting anywhere near that, but you never know. I'm curious to see if someone makes them an offer and what they might get for it. Considering shipping costs and ebay fees, I might wind up keeping mine too. I've got doubles of 75% of the collection. I'll probably start trying to sell some of those for now.

Just FYI, but if that eBay seller does accept an offer lower than $4500, it won't show the lower price. It will only show the $4500 with a line through it to show it wasn't sold at that price.
