Thanks, Brian. I was using the fullbook jacket art from the website, but had to expand to the point of pixelization. This is much better."I'm a vegan. "

Wow. There are not many Gift Editions that sell out so quickly, even King's. It looks like the limited will be worth a pretty penny.

That brings up a question I have. Who determined the print run for the Gift editions? To me it would make sense to have a lower print run for It since it is a re-print of an older story and it is more expensive, while Dr. Sleep is a new story and $30 dollars less. Yet It has 1,000 more copies printed.Originally posted by Dan Hocker View PostYea it is. It was a bit more expensive though due to it's size. I also think IT had a larger print run.

If you guys ever get an opportunity to interview King about the Small Press/Limited edition business I for one would be very interested in his thought process about who to allow to print his books, print runs etc. That would be a nice feature for CD Magazine!

I would like to see an article on the whole process from the beginning to the finished product. So do you guys say lets approach an author about a certain book project or do the authors contact you? I am sure it is different depending on the author and there popularity. But it would be fun to have an inside look at the whole thing.

As to how projects get started, it does vary. Sometimes we have an idea for a Limited Edition and we contact the author, and sometimes the author contacts us.
