The Mist would be a really cool double but I liked the Darknell double better. I think doing one of the short story colelctions in a multiple volume double would be pretty cool.

I would say that "Lisey's Story" would be a definite first choice for me. After seeing the cover artwork of "boo-ya moon" I wished the entire book was illustrated. Some of the artwork could be very graphic (Like when Scot's father cuts his sons)

My second choice would be "Duma Key" I saw the picture of the ship painting in "Knowing Darkness" and thought it was beautiful. And hey, the book is about painting and drawing, so I think it would make a lot of sense to have a S/L limited with lots of artwork.

The Long Walk. My favorite "Bachman" book.

I think it's one of the most beautiful book productions I've ever seen.

It's not one I own, but I love that edition. It's a beautiful, well-made book.

Example of the artwork inside the book. I wish I had saved a larger version so we could see the detail.

I still wouldn't mind this redone with a ton of illustrations. Don't burn me to bad.......

    Just the novella.
At one time Frank Darabont was working on it.
    But that was years ago...
    Anyone know what happened?

Definitely one of the better films to have come from a King story - but what else would you expect from Darabont - the man seems to turn everything he touches to gold as far as supernatural/horror work goes.

I did not know that and I was thinking of something much more unique, very illustrated, and a special case. A new book that looks very midevil....Just dreaming!
