Bag of Bones and Lisey's Story are my absolute favorites of the past decades.
The former contains the most emotionally devastating passage ever in a Kingbook - totally unexpected.
The first and only time King ever brought tears to my eyes (to put it mildly).
I believe I read somewhere that King considers Lisey's Story his best ever.
I almost agree with him - still got a soft spot for The Stand, though...

Not to get too off topic, but what did you think of Duma Key?

I would agree with Brian on Bag of Bones being one of Kings better novels of the past 15 years. I would recommend you follow that with Lisey's Story if you have not read it yet.
Yep, I re-read them back to back last year and totally agree with you.

Oddly enough, I have not read Bag of Bones yet, but I did meet him in Chicago when he did a signing at a library downtown for Bag. I asked him to sign his middle name in the signature. He said he would, but nobody would believe he really did that! LOL!!
Brad, drop me a line whenever you do get a chance to read Bag of Bones... it's easily one of my favorite King books of the last 15 years, and I'm always curious to hear what people think...!
I think I'd go for a The Mist limited.
Just the novella.
At one time Frank Darabont was working on it.
But that was years ago...
Anyone know what happened?

Last I heard, he was still planning to do that at some point. I'm hoping he has the time because it would awesome!

I would have to agree with Pet Semetery. I would also love to see one done for The Stand, It (unless those have already been done, of course). Bag of Bones would be a good one as well. Thought that one was being made into a movie at some point. Would love to see it made into a movie (as long as it was done properly)
A Bag of Bones Limited would be nice. It's one of my favorite books and is truly terrifying at times.

I agree with martin, however, I am leaning more towards different seasons. It would be super cool to see the four novella's in there own books with "seasonal" colorings. Something similar to the The Green Mile limited.
If I had to pick one prior King book to be done as a limited I would it would be a toss up between Different Seasons or Everythings Eventual. I would like to see either of these with different artists for each story.
