I'm teaching a class over at LitReactor on editing your fiction. Should be fun.

    http://litreactor.com/classes/trim-t...richard-thomas

"In this two-week workshop, Richard Thomas will teach you how to edit your work like a surgeon—to kill your darlings, trim the fat, and leave only the best bits of the story behind."

    Hey, gang!

Just wanted to stop in and give some great info. When my publisher Biting Dog Publication told me about CD’s promotional thread, I was elated to say the least. Biting Dog has just uploaded my new E-book “The Wooden Box”.

You can get it at these locations.

    About the story:
During the Great Depression many travel across the country in search of work but for Mack Grainy the Depression is the least of his worries. Personal battles ensue when his wife asks him to do something that will change their lives forever. Time grows short as he prepares to build her a wooden box.

"The Wooden Box" is powerful, tough, and tender. Read it and see what I mean.
    --Bill Crider

    A beautiful story.
    --Kealan Patrick Burke

The Wooden Box is as excruciating as it is uplifting. It's a simple parable, but it packs a strong punch.

    --The Horror Drive-In

You can read the full review from The Horror Drive-In on my site. http://stevenlloydnet.webstarts.com/index.html

Hope this wasn’t too long of a post, guys. Enjoy the story!

    Steven

Friends... my second novella "The Witch of Dreadmere Forest" is out now instead of May. It is an E-book only and is available through Secret Cravings Publishing. I do hope you enjoy it. Also my first short story is out in paperback from Crentus Libri Press in a book called "Suffer the Little Children". Please give it a read and let me know what you think. I hope you all like it.

Thanks guys. The list is pretty daunting and I think I can speak for both of us (actually I know I can because we discussed it) when I say we are just honored to have made it this far.
