Extended LOTR in theaters!

Did anyone get to check out the extended Fellowship of the Ring on Tuesday (14June) at an AMC theater?

It was really nice to see it without an intermission (hate them) and without a pause button (too tempting) with an appreciative audience.

Of couse, at the 2-hour mark, people started getting up for a bathroom break or get more munchies.

And I can't figure out why I sat through the 20-minute credits; I think it was to let the parking lot clear out.

I love these films. Debating whether to get the extended versions on Blu Ray when they're released. Overkill maybe as I already have them on DVD.

No AMC theaters here.
But, I don't know if that means anything.
We've had our LotR maratons over here, but not the extended yet.
That's in honour of the upcoming BD release I understand.
Which I can't wait to view on my 60" Kuro/Pioneer plasma screen.
