Trailers make Abrams' films look better than they turn out to be, but I'm in. Got my ticket for IMAX 3d on 17Oct!

Also for those of you who are like me and are full on nut jobs. Here's an album of all the stills from the trailer.

My mind might change once seeing it in the context of the movie, but every time I see a picture of him in costume, it just turns me off.

On the plus side, it looks like Margot Robbie could be turning in an interesting performance as Harley Quinn.

I really love DC (well, Pre-New 52; sorry, I liked a married Superman and I'm a die-hard Wally West fan) so I'll probably end up seeing these regardless of how I feel about them right now, but I'm just not excited.

As far as other superhero flicks, Deadpool continues to intrigue me. Reports are that the footage at Comic-Con was well received. Love the comics so I'm on board.
Yea I'm hearing some pretty good things about Deadpool as well. I also saw some shaky cam footage of X-Men: Apocalypse and that's looking good to.

I'm hoping they can find a balance with the tone and not always go for the laugh, but with it being a half-hour show, I get the feeling that's not going to be the case. Either way, I'm going to check it out if simply because Bruce Campbell is just plain fun to watch.
Oh I'm totally hooked on BvS and Suicide Squad. I'm really digging the tone / look with what they are going for in those movies. I think it's a great contrast to what Marvel has going. Makes them feel different, which is what they need to do if they want to succeed.

I heard on a podcast today that Sam Rami direct the pilot for Ash vs. The Evil Dead and that basically no one would say no to him, so the pilot is gonna be crazy.

Also this isn't exactly a movie, but it's pretty awesome none the less.

I think this one looks fairly entertaining. This is turning into the year of spy movies.

As someone who read the book, I have that same fear.

But my girlfriend - who never showed any interest in the book - asked to read it after seeing the trailer. She seemed surprised that it was a book first. And of course see the movie. Hopefully she'll be done when the movie is released in October.

So it accomplished what a trailer should I think ...

Personally I'm actually really looking forward to this one, though I'm concerned that the trailer may show a little too much of the movie.
