My dog sat happily at my feet the entire time. Never made a peep.

This was exactly my dog last night! My brother-in-law's dog is even worse. He had to get doggie valium for her to make it through the night.

My dog hides too, either under our bed or in her kennel. Yesterday she laid under the computer desk at my feet for hours though and wasn't bothered at all by fireworks while there. She trusts me very, very much. Pretty sure she trusts me more than anyone else, and definitely trusts me more than my wife, even though she was my wife's dog. She obeys me better than my wife, too, though that is because I definitely have a more commanding voice.
