When I found this book on Amazon, I thought how wonderfully politically incorrect! And for children, too! As I read about it, I discovered it's about prim and proper vampires in a moustache contest! And the main character has the awesome name of Dargoth Van Gloomfang!

But the first review of the book was the best:

I was incredibly disappointed when I found out that this was a book by Carlton Mellick III and not the newest installment in the Twilight Saga. The title is incredibly misleading.

Very funny. Reminds of a great scene from the movie Skin Deep with the late John Ritter. Imagine this cartoon played out in live action!

The Star Wars theme would have been hysterical in the background!

That's the only part of that movie that I remember. Blake Edwards directed. I remember that, too.
