Yep, I see you -- you're good to go! We've had a number of new members join in the last day two, three days, so I just sent out an email to the list with a few helpful hints on the Groups.io platform.

Given the recent dustup in social media that may or may not create a strain on Cemetery Dance, I thought it might be helpful to remind the Facebook-less folks that a Groups.io email list was created to keep members connected in the event something happens to this forum. Thanks for reposting this link Ron! Had no idea of this dust-up until very recently, and even more weird, am currently reading Cold, Black, and Infinite, by Todd Keisling. Hopefully, everything will get taken care of, and this negativity towards CD will blow over, but boy are there some angry people on Reddit!

A comment on another thread suggests that perhaps it's time to remind all here that I've set up an email group list, should anything happen to this site. For those of us not on Facebook, in particular, this alternative would be a way to stay in touch.

Yes, I haven't been a particularly active shepherd, either, to instigate and encourage activity, but as you say, like a spare tire that you rarely look at, it's nice to know it's waiting in the wings should something unfortunate happen.

As stated in the Lividian forum, I started tossing around the idea of hosting my own forum and I just spun up a really simple forum on an old domain that I was using for my home brew operation (that doesn't exist anymore, but I kept the domain for reasons.)

If you want to give it a trial, let me know and I'll pm you the URL. It needs some work, but I think it's a good alternative to here.
