And it's only 400 pages. But it sure seels like 700 when you constantly flipping back and forth between it's covers! Last edited by srboone; 02-19-2012, 07:16 PM."I'm a vegan. " Last edited by srboone; 02-19-2012, 07:16 PM."I'm a vegan. "

Another comic: Issue #1 of Alan Moore's Yuggoth Cultures and Other Growths (2003). A 3-issue mini series ofsome of Moore's unpublished work put out by Avatar Press; collected into into a trade paperback in 2007. I only have issue #1 because some one sent it with a pack of other stuff because he thought I might like it. I do, but I never tried to find issues 2 and 3.

Wrap around cover art by Juan Jose Ryp.

I tried twice and those friggin' color/light bars appeared on the scan! Last edited by srboone; 02-19-2012, 07:54 PM."I'm a vegan. " Last edited by srboone; 02-19-2012, 07:54 PM."I'm a vegan. "

Issue 1 contains an illustrated (Ryp) poem, "Zaman's Hill"

and the first part of an unfinished graphic novel "Nightjar"; also included is the script for the first part of "Nightjar'. Moore left most of the unfunished pages on the seat of a London taxicab and was never able to reconstruct them. "Nightjar was later spun off into a 4-issue miniseries by Antony Johnston--but the vast majority of it was Johnston's work. The idea was Moore's.

"Nightjar" is how the next page begins."I'm a vegan. "

[QUOTE=srboone;21303]1st print Moonshadow and Camelot 3000 (the only 30-month 12 issue series I can remember!)

Squire, it looks like you kept the best of the best comics-wise. All of these are treasured in my collection too. Camelot was a good story with incredible art. When I started working at the comic shop in 1984, people would ask every week about when C3000 #12 would be coming out. "Your guess is as good as mine," was the go-to answer. There were quite a few happy campers when it was finally released.

My question is: Where's the Swamp Thing stuff?"Dance until your feet hurt. Sing until your lungs hurt. Act until you're William Hurt." - Phil Dunphy ("Modern Family"), from Phil's-osophy.
