GREAT ADDITION. I have a paperback edition and love this book. This is on my want list and has been for a long time. Congratulations.

Thanks. I picked it up off eBay for what I thought was a decent price (around 45 bucks). I've been flirting with the idea of collecting all the Earthling Halloween books. Figured this was a good place to start.

It is. I have 2 from the series. Both by James A. Moore. Blood Harvest and The Haunted Forest that he wrote with Jeff Strand.

I have 3. Haunted Forest, 5. October Dark. 6. By Wizard Oak. and the Halloween Children on order. I had also toyed with the idea of getting them all, but a few of them just don't appeal to me, so I'll probably just pick as they come out. I think Camelot Books hasmost of them in stock.

I haven't posted anything for a while so I decided it is time to play catch up. Up first is the Book 1 and 2 of the Little Books Series II from Borderlands Press:

I haven't read Ornery Stories yet, but Creature Tails was fantastic. Highly recommended! I also don't normally go for this size of book, but I really liked these. I plan on getting the rest of Series II. Maybe one day I'll track down all the books in Series I but that isn't in the game plan for 2015.

As a heads up to anyone that wants them and has a cool grand burning a hole in their pocket, Camelot Books has all of Series I available as a matched set.

I saw that as well. Even with their layaway program, I don't know if I'd be able to afford it. I've seen the Gold Book by Neil Gaiman go for ridiculous amounts on Ebay recently. One auction ended at $155!

Next book is The Midnight Meat Train: Special Definitive Edition. I'm glad I wound up picking this one up. Dark Regions did a great job with it and for such a slim volume it's got a decent weight to it!

I'm a big Glen Hirshberg fan so this one has been on my radar since it was announced and I kept putting it off and putting it off until I won it off Ebay for $10 (!).

Around the same time that I picked up Motherless Child, I also came across another book that I've wanted for a while but has been out of my price range until I found a decent priced PC copy:

I recently joined the Black Voltage Book of the Month Club for 2015. In anticipation of the new year's worth of books, I decided to get caught up on some of their recent releases. The first is The Final Girl by Brandon Ford:
