I did get The Sorrows for my Kobo - in fact that is what I am reading now (9/29/14)....interesting.

And now for my latest arrival:

It is my first Garton too! Got this more for my wife, who works in the trucking industry. And she is into the whole vampire thing too.

I may have to pick up The Sorrows now before I actually read this one.

Won this on a tor.com sweepstakes. Will probably hand it to my daughter, as I am not a graphic novel person and figured she'd be at least interested (loves the Scott Pilgrim books)

I really like the art work on it - kind of creepy.

My first Waggoner was The Men Upstairs. It's different, but I really enjoyed it.

It's a lot smaller than I thought it would be. But looking forward to it. I like Waggoner a lot.

So.... my street (block) had a block sale. My neighbour had books ( uh oh....), that if they didn't sell were to be donated to a local charity re-sale store (Goodwill). I said I'd gladly take them, as we were taking a bunch of stuff down to the same place. How can I donate a batch without making sure there wasn't something I was interested in first......

    So...ended up with:

    Cat approved even!

OK - Thanks for that. I was pretty sure Barker was as you said. I read Cabal years (lots of years!) ago (after seeing Nightbreed).

I think the reason why I keep not reading Anathem (Stephenson) is because of all the made up words, etc. that he uses - heard mixed reviews.
