Richard Laymon’s THE WOODS ARE DARK...and I pop up from behind my RC Cola logo and show off my face and my dog. Beware the cuteness (the dog, not me ;-))!

Should make for a great dog then! I've heard Boxers are great dogs and I owned a black Lab as a kid. Her name was Midnight and Labs make for some of the best kid's dogs IMO.

Yeah, she’s been a great family dog. We got her when our kids were eight, and now they’re turning 20 and Zena’s turning 12. Still still has the energy of a much younger dog, she’s never really lost that...think that must be the boxer half.

Boxers and labs are both fantastic breeds. I've had both in my family and they are all heart. Best dogs individually. I can only imagine how awesome they are combined.

Happy to find more common ground with Ron as a fellow dog person!

Dog people are the bestest people, followed closely in bestestness by book people...so that makes us bestestnesser than most. Or something like that.

I absolutely agree with this statement. While Dog People are the best, anybody that has affection towards animals rank high in my book. People who have no heart for any animal kind of worry me...

Thanks — yeah, it’s a gorgeous production, probably the last Garton I’d let go from my collection of his work.
