Posted elsewhere, but I've been reading the whole series this year. I had previously read the first three (maybe four?) volumes years ago, and really wanted to finish them.

Currently on King of Shadows was go bored I paused it and picked up something else. dannyboy121070 said the last two volumes were pretty bad which is frustrating to hear. I'm still going to finish them because dammit I'm not a quitter! (I've only quit one book - and as I get older, I really need to stop powering through stuff I'm not enjoying.)

Same -- yesterday, I think. Looking forward to it -- though it does service as a stark reminder that I need to get back to that series, as I'm only three volumes...it's time -- past time! -- to start that fourth installment.
