Very excited by today's advance pre-order email from SST. Think it's being publicly announced in a few days. This book was one of the best of the series so far! Will be very happy to have an LE of it in my collection.

Good to hear that it's high on your list of that particular series. I haven't gotten to it yet, but will do so when the SST edition is in hand.

Just received my copy of The Angel of Indian Lake, so happy to finally have this in hand. Think it's the longest I've ever had to wait for a book from SST!

Oh, I am still debating on that title. If the price tag was a little more in the $70 range, I'd be more willing. At $95, I have to think about it a bit. I wound up passing on Earthling's last Tyler Jones offering and I'm kinda regretting it, so it's putting more pressure on me to pull the trigger on this one.

I'm excited about the news of a full Hap & Leonard set and hope it comes to fruition. I had passed on Sugar on the Bones initially, but now I'm scrounging pennies to buy a copy in hopes of a sellout and that full set. I'm kinda wondering if this book would've sold better initially if Paul had floated the idea of the set being done based on the demand for this title. I can see a lot of people not willing to buy this one since it's like the thirteenth or something in the series, but would have jumped all over Book 1 in the series hoping for a full set.

I agree that the chances for a full H & L set would've been better starting out with Savage Season. Still, I hope he does it. Just received Sugar On The Bones, and although I haven't read this H & L entry yet, it's another beautiful production from SST. And some of the best packing I've ever seen from Paul! Always a pleasure to get such value for a great product and customer service from SST.
