It would have been great to have some additional story notes from Joe Hill or his reflections on the story all these years later.

Moreover, I thought it would have been interesting to include some essays about the journey to becoming a feature film or perhaps something from one of the actors in the film, such as Ethan Hawke, explaining his journey to becoming the grabber. Even some movie stills would have been neat, too.

And, with a sequel movie being made, how cool would it have been to get a sequel story from Hill to include along with this one? Oh well, my wallet could use a bit of a break anyway!

I hope everyone that does pick up a copy loves it!
You know, I kinda thought the same thing. I saw that Cargill is doing an afterword and all I could do was wonder why the screenplay wasn't included.

My thoughts exactly. As others have said, it looks like a beautiful production and if I was a diehard Joe Hill collector, this would be a great addition.

I passed on FAWN, and will pass on this one. For the more ardent Hill collector, I’m sure this’ll be a book they’ll love since, as we all know, Suntup does beautiful work.

I'm not familiar with the June books but April and May are all sound guesses. If those are the books I will certainly be interested in what Paul comes up with on the design of The Black Phone.

Was thinking maybe a Clive Barker or Joe Hill collection for April.

No idea on the science fiction books for May and June.

Any guesses for Next Quarter's Books?

April- Some short stories are just screaming to be given the Suntup treatment, and this one rang out loud and clear. This is our second publication by the author, though it is the third he has signed.

May- This spacefaring sequel featuring carnivorous extraterrestrials is finally ready for lift off.

June- Winner of four science fiction awards including the Hugo and Locus Award, this novel’s brilliance couldn’t possibly be replicated.

I'm skipping this one. Good book, but I just don't need a Suntup edition of it.

Man, Cuckoo's Nest is one of my most favorite books of all time...but $225 for the AE...I don't know if I can swing that. I see that Chuck Palahniuk is writing the foreword. Man, I'd love a Suntup edition of Fight Club.

I’m perplexed and frustrated why I no longer receive Suntup’s announcement emails (or they arrive hours late). If it wasn’t for this board, I’d rarely know what was happening with the press. So thanks (again) for the post, I’ll have to shoot over there and check it out.
