4 for me. 2 thunderstorm 2 ghost story books I've been collecting. Plus all lividian titles from patreon.

I have a total of 4 + 1 which is at the authors place for some illustrations.

Today's TS announcement includes a Chad Lutzke title that I really would like to buy. I'm tempted but it really is bad timing for me.

*Edit. I'm moving my TS comment to the correct thread.

Received a shipping notice for RATMAN'S NOTEBOOKS, the Artist Edition, a few days ago...really looking forward to this one.

This is one I really thought about purchasing. It's a great looking book.

It's one of my favorite classic macabre books, so this one was, for me, a no-brainer. In fact, it's one of the very rare times that I considered picking up a Numbered edition to celebrate. But ultimately I stuck with the Artist Edition, and after seeing it I certainly have no regrets. I did pick up the velvet ribbon bookmark with charms that was also offered...it's one of those tchotchkes that I always skip from publishers, but I picked it up as a small (and cheaper) way to celebrate the release.

I'd highly recommend the book as a read to anyone...even if you don't want to step up to the Suntup edition, Valancourt has a cheap trade-paperback of it available. If you've seen the movie Willard and whether you like or disliked it, it is actually nothing like the film, save for the basic premise. There's a very different tone to the book, a proper decorum, an English vibe, that makes the horror of it all that much more "civilized" and memorable.

Received my copy recently. I have heard of the movie based on this book but have not seen it and am unfamiliar with the book or author. The Suntup edition will be my first exposure to the story!

What does everyone think of today's announcement from Suntup: The Dragon Masters & The Last Castle by Jack Vance - Artist Edition? I was very surprised by this one and may grab a copy (though I will have to do it soon since the book is moving briskly and will probably sell out today). I'm not a huge sci-fi reader but have always loved Vance's stuff.

I tried to get into Vance a few years ago after seeing for many years all the positive acclaim for his work and legacy, and I enjoyed the two crime/mystery omnibuses that Sub Press published. While I respect his work and can objectively understand why many love it, his SF and fantasy work just wasn't for me, and was the final confirmation I needed that fantasy fiction in sum just isn't my thing. So I'll be passing on this Suntup offering, though it's clearly an attractive volume.
