While initially very excited, I've been wavering back and forth since the pricing came out a short while ago, and after a night of hand-wringing, I finally decided this morning to pass, even though it kind of pains me to, as I really wanted this new illustrated edition. But at a whopping $300+ after shipping and monetary conversion to dollars, I just couldn't pull the trigger on it. I have the signed and number UK 1st HC of it -- which I believe preceded the Sub Press S/L ed. by a short while, making it the true 1st limited -- and that one will just have to do. Perhaps -- perhaps! -- if I didn't have that one I could've justified it, but I couldn't justify a $300+ upgrade. Looks like it's now sold out, a number of hours after its offering.
Who knows, maybe this new edition will bring down the aftermarket price of the Sub Press edition, which, actually, I wouldn't mind replacing my UK S/L with, since it would match my other two Sub Press S/L Weir books.

Between my May Thunderstorm pre-orders, the Lividian pre-order for Leviathan, and also the PS pre-order for Firestarter, this month's book budget is pretty much shot and then some!Twitter: https://twitter.com/ron_clinton
