If copies ever do appear, and then somehow a few find their way to the secondary market, budget be damned, I’m in for whatever it takes. I love Partridge’s fiction, and it was a sad day when it dried up almost, what, two decades ago? Damn, but time flies.
But I’m glad someone is keeping hope alive for THE BUTCHER’S TALE, because I lost all hope long, long ago.

I feel for you on this one spookymizu . . . I probably would have cut my losses ages ago, but after 14 (almost 15 years!) I see the thrill of the hunt on this one.

The time has come for my annual sojourn deep into the wilds of the Cem Dance Forums. I am hunting a rare beast indeed - I seek the Oktober Shadow beast.
Some say it only rears its head on one night a year. Only the most devoted reader will get to see it. Are you sincere enough? Do you have what it takes? Are you ready to read the Butcher's Tale?
I am ready to hunt the most dangerous game. Bring it on!
So, no substantial updates, I suppose. It doesn't seem like Norman has released much material in recent years. Does anybody have an update on how HE is doing? I hope he is well.
Don't forget, you can read the first part of this story, 10/31 Bloody Mary here

ETA: Seems to have no issues with the weird character. For what's in worth, I'm on a Windows 11 machine with Firefox as my browser. All updates current.

I'm not trying to complain - I just want a better update. I read the first story that this one is connected to, and really liked it. Looking forward to reading this second story.

I'm hoping for a Hallowmass miracle this year.
Has anybody hear anything even resembling an update?

The Partridge story is quite good. I'm about halfway through the book, and most of the other stories have been a real chore with a few exceptions.

I almost bought the book just for his story. Almost.

Well, Drat, and Double Drat (Spooky throws a hissy fit, then a hysterical tantrum, and finishes with a tempestuous outburst).
I wish there was some sort of update, but wishes only come to those that are the most sincere. I shall wait in my pumpkin patch until the Great One finally arrives in my mailbox.
Thanks, Dan.
