Well, now I'm really worried.
The last time Partridge posted to his Facebook page was 2012.
The last time he posted to his blog page, was 2014.
When one attempts to go to the author's website (which is linked on Facebook and the blog), normanpartridge.com, one finds a landscaping business.
Either he isn't writing any longer or he lost the rights to his website. Neither is very encouraging.
So, what is going on for this author? He seems to have fallen off the digital map.

I'm guessing it's going to be another disappointing Halloween.
Sigh.

I hope he is still working on this project because I have really enjoyed some of his other work, but we're entering Year 8 and it's been awfully quiet for a very long time.
Going through and revising chapter by chapter to change up some character stuff, and then I need to write the end. I figure it'll end up about 40 - 45 k. Here's what I've got right now if you want a look. It's basically a seventies horror movie (that takes place in the early eighties) mashed up with "something in the woods"--that's the Halloween train fun ride, scarecrows, etc., but really something bigger about the heart of the holiday itself. With the characters, it's about what you'd do/how you'd react if you knew you weren't going to make it out of a situation alive.

This has become a test of will and character for me. I will not give in, I will not waver. Even if my children get this book instead of me, I WILL NOT CANCEL LOL!!!
