You are killing me. It's nearly midnight before Halloween. I just snuck into the house after having had my band play in front of a haunted house all night, AND you crack THIS joke? Oh man! I think I may have woken my girlfriend with my laughter.
Bravo!!

Haven't heard from him in a while, but I'll check in now and see how the news is looking!Originally posted by spookymizu View PostThere hasn't been an official update on this bad boy in quite a while. The author's blog and Facebook pages have been left unattended for quite a while. Is everything going alright for Norman?

He's working on the last second now, and then it'll be into revisions. I think he said the final word count is 30,000+.Originally posted by Brian James Freeman View PostHaven't heard from him in a while, but I'll check in now and see how the news is looking!

I would love to have one to share, but Norman was still working on things last time I heard from him. I had really hoped it would be out for this Halloween, but unfortunately that will not be the case. I will post news the moment I have ANYTHING I can tell folks. Thanks again for your patience on this one.Originally posted by spookymizu View PostAny projected release date at this point?
Thanks.

I've asked for another update from the author. There's still time to rush production for this Halloween if we have the manuscript soon.

Is Mr. Partridge still writing? I haven't heard of anything new at all from him in quite a while, let alone this project. He also used to have a website that appears to be no more. I hope he is still working on this project because I have really enjoyed some of his other work, but we're entering Year 8 and it's been awfully quiet for a very long time.Originally posted by Brian James Freeman View PostI've asked for another update from the author. Our last update from him came the other month, but we hadn't posted it yet because it isn't super definitive in terms of a timetable. Here is his message:Originally posted by rjmyers View PostIs Mr. Partridge still writing? I haven't heard of anything new at all from him in quite a while, let alone this project. Going through and revising chapter by chapter to change up some character stuff, and then I need to write the end. I figure it'll end up about 40 - 45 k. Here's what I've got right now if you want a look. It's basically a seventies horror movie (that takes place in the early eighties) mashed up with "something in the woods"--that's the Halloween train fun ride, scarecrows, etc., but really something bigger about the heart of the holiday itself. With the characters, it's about what you'd do/how you'd react if you knew you weren't going to make it out of a situation alive.Brian James Freeman
