Here's my plan: When I get the Nocturnal Box Reader's edition, I'm going to gently remove the dust jacket and switch it with the one on the signed edition I'm getting from Cemetery Dance. Then I'm going to slip that puppy into the slipcase and read the unsigned one with the trade edition dust jacket.

I have NO IDEA why I needed to share this "plan."

I have the Audio CD ordered from Amazon with a delivery date of 5/16. I plan to listen to it before I receive the actual copies.

The idea of an alternate cover that was approved by both Stephen King and Richard Chizmar intrigued me. I watched several of the unboxing videos and jumped in. I am telling myself that this will be a one month thing. I am telling myself that I am not going to be spending $43 a month going forward. We will see if I listen to myself.

I don't think we ever did. We're sending a production note next week to the customers who bought the book and slipcase, so no one panics when just the book arrives.
